Dave grew up in Oxford, NS and has worked for the town for over 20 years. He is a loving father, step-father, husband, and grandfather.

He was recently diagnosed with colon and liver cancer and will soon begin chemotherapy treatments in Halifax. He will also require surgery. He has had to take a leave from work and will be traveling back and forth to Halifax regularly for the next 6 months.
