David Martinez Legacy Project
Donation protected
David Francisco Martinez, 39, created a bold and passionate life that spanned many cities, careers, communities, and loves. His success in life was born from a genuine desire to draw connections between people and places and to share stories and ideas drawn from his rich understanding of the human experience.
We are David's family, chosen and biological. Please join us in celebrating his legacy and carrying on his creative spirit.
With the funds gathered, we will explore ways to carry on his imBODIED work, integrating the best of movement therapy and self discovery. He was able to combine the best of his experiences as a professional dancer, choreographer, somatic coach, designer and all-around healing spirit in the world
We will share details as they develop, regarding a range of creative projects (including a possible children's book, an ongoing development of his methodology and a celebration of his life).
We would like to share this collective project by the time of his memorial on May 29th in San Francisco, the first public celebration of his life.
We're asking for donations in lieu of flowers and other condolence offerings.
RSVP for the San Francisco Memorial at ODC Theater on May 29, 2019.

Thank you,
Team David
