David Lurie stage 2 Cancer Recovery

Hi, my name is Brenden, and I am setting up this fundraiser page on behalf of David Lurie, my father. He recently underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor anchored to his left knee and femur. The ultimate and best decision were to replace the entire knee and a large portion of his femur to remove the Cancer. Now the most challenging part is the recovery, over three months of putting no weight on his leg and hoping there isn't any issue with the bone graphing to the replaced bone. As many of us know, Dave is in the automotive industry, and while recovering from his procedure, he cannot work at all; So, there have been some financial troubles, including Mortage, utilities, food, and large medical bills. Dave is a helpful and kind man who doesn't want to ask for help, nor would he let me do this. I don't see any other choice but to ask for help on his behalf. Anyone who knows Dave knows he would give the shirt off his back to help out. So if you can help him in his time of need, it would be greatly appreciated, especially knowing he has friends and family that love him. It will only, in my opinion, will help lift his spirits and help his recovery, knowing he can worry a little less.
