David Lee Asher, Jr. Final Expenses

My name is Pam Frazier-Anderson and I am David Asher’s cousin. David was loved by so many, and like you my heart breaks now that he is no longer with us. As you can imagine, not only has this been an extremely emotional time, but also a significant financial burden for his loved ones who are now entrusted with his final preparations.

David did not have life insurance. David was with his husband, Bob Van Riper, for 22 years. They had life insurance to cover both of them but then Bob lost his employment due to Covid-19. The insurance was through his work. At their ages, private life insurance was too expensive to purchase privately plus hard to qualify for with pre-existing health conditions. Bob has had to start over with new employment so employer-offered insurance is not available yet.

The funds raised will go directly to the funeral home to provide for the caring and compassionate management and cremation of his remains and to cover his celebration of life ceremony expenses.
