David Krieger

My name is Matt Knepper, and I have had the great pleasure to call David my partner in our bankruptcy practice and many other great capers in law. If you know David, you know he was a gentle giant who found his soul mate in his fiancee, Samantha and was madly in love with their daughter, Brooklyn, and their baby boy, Hudson. Samantha has been a stay-at-home mom to their children, while David and I worked day and night to build our bankruptcy practice for the last two-and-a-half years.

To call David's passing a tragedy is a gross understatement. David and Sam were planning their wedding for this summer. He and I built the bankruptcy practice during a 40-year low in bankruptcy filings. 2023 was set to be one of many celebrations for David, personally and professionally.

David's passing was so unexpected that his family is facing a significant legal battle in probate. For some, it seems, even a divorce decree isn't truly final. This means that David's family will not only be facing mounting legal fees, but also that they may be waiting several months or more for access to estate funds.
