David Knight Memorial Scholarship Fund

David Holmes Knight, beloved son, brother, and friend passed away suddenly on May 21, 2024. He is survived by his loving family, Tiffany, Jason, Anna, Emma, Taylor, and Blake, along with many friends and extended family. He is preceded in death by his father, Vincent Knight, and his beloved Meme and Papa.

David grew up in Boca Raton, Florida, and was pursuing his Bachelor’s degree at Florida Atlantic University. He touched everyone he knew, and was best known to be kind, compassionate, generous, and witty. David loved video games, serving as the manager for the Overwatch Red Team of FAU’s Esports Gaming Club. Along with being a manager for one of the Esports teams, David also participated in various speech & debate tournaments as he was the Co-Founder President of the Owls Speech & Debate Club at FAU. 

In honor of David’s life and accomplishments, a scholarship is being established in David’s name in support of Florida Atlantic University’s EA Sports Team, and donations are greatly appreciated in support of the fund. Donations towards expenses and arrangements for David and his family are also appreciated.
