I am setting up this page on behalf of our family following the suddenly unexpected and devastating loss of our Son, Brother and Uncle Dave Kirkby aged 56 in the early hours of New Years Eve 31/12/24.

I am trying to take away some of the pressure for my Nan so that we can give my Uncle Dave the send off he deserves and ease the financial side of it all. We know times are hard for everyone, but as a family we will appreciate even the smallest amount of help.

Uncle Dave was a kind caring soul and a hard worker all his life despite his disability. He made so many friends along the way and always kept in touch with his many friends at home and abroad. His family was his world and he would always do anything for us all. There are so many little ones in our family and he was so proud of all of us and we were of him too.

He has left a huge hole in our world and will be forever missed by all of us. The only comfort we have is knowing he is now reunited with his Sister (Jacky), Dad (Anthony) and the rest of our family gone too soon.

Funeral arrangements still to made but we will update with the details.
