My brother, David Kinne, had claimed this spot of California as his piece of paradise for the sunset of his amazing, troubadour patchwork of a life.  Paradise, as it turns out, had other plans.  His little spot, 7720 Skyway Blvd. burned to the ground with the rest of the town.  His most valued stringed instruments, everything computer, bikes and more bikes, weird historical firearms he owned..Poof! Gone!

He has his glasses, watch, phone, and wallet, and a backpack with a few days worth of underwear and Hawaiian shirts. 

Our brother Donn and I will be traveling north to see him in the Enloe Hospital in Chico, where he is recovering his strength and outwitting a G.I. bug, and hope to find him a landing zone, somewhere in the county, where he can be safe and secure for at least the near future. 

Since his property was not insured in any way, his short term needs would be to buy some basic clothing at the Goodwill, followed by rudimentary housekeeping needs wherever he lands next.  His family could cover him with this stuff, but when he's back on his feet, he's going to want to get a guitar, a computer, and a real wardrobe.  That's the purpose of this appeal.
