David Kicks Colon Cancer

David is the loving husband of Rosanna De La Rosa, beloved behavioral health professional in our WakeMed family. David and Rosanna have 3 beautiful children: Darianna (9), Josue (5), and Elias (2). At the beginning of October, David felt a strong pain in his stomach that led him to the emergency department. After several invasive tests and an emergency surgery, they received the difficult news that he has been diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer. The De La Rosa family have immense faith that God is working in David and that he will get the treatment and healing that he needs to see his children grow up. David is unable to work for the foreseeable future and they are facing enormous medical expenses which have devastated their household income. We understand that this is a particularly difficult time for everyone right now but every dollar will help.
