My father, David Kaplansky, who is 73 and disabled, lost everything in the Camp Fire in Paradise, California. Here we are, pictured back in July, in his home that is no longer there.

He was found by paramedics in a field outside his home, and has nothing but the clothes he was wearing.  He is currently hospitalized in Oroville , and needs to be moved to a rehabilitation center. My sister Sarah Kaplansky and I are trying to relocate him to one near where she lives, about 300 miles away. 

Any financial support we raise will be used to furnish him with some basic necessities, cover his travel costs, and help get him settled once he is rehabilitated.
