David K. Brown Memorial

We have set up this GoFundMe to help raise money for the family of David K. Brown, who was recently taken from us due to a tragic automobile accident.  David is survived by his wife Yadira and his three children: Nick 14, Johnny 4, and Delilah 2.  David was a devoted family man and loving father. He was full of energy, he was a hard worker, and he loved life. David brought joy to everyone around him, including his family, friends, and all in the community who were fortunate enough to know him. David most recently worked for the City of Santa Paula and previously for the City of Fillmore, his hometown. In addition, David also spent nearly 20 years serving his community as a volunteer firefighter and first responder in the City of Fillmore.  He was devoted to being a first responder and would regularly drop what he was doing to answer calls for local emergencies. Even during family gatherings and holidays, David  would step away from family and friends to respond to emergency situations and help others who were in need. We love him and miss him and hope to be able to help his family during this terribly painful and difficult time. Any funds raised will go to the Brown family to help cover costs for memorial service arrangements, and will be managed by Alejandra Lemus, Yadira’s sister.  We deeply appreciate any support to help David's family through this difficult time.
