Hi Everyone, We’re fund raising for our families little miracle David Joseph Krug!❤️
On June 26th Joe’s sister Kasia (Katie) had just reached 22 weeks in her pregnancy, she went to the hospital in pain multiple times, they were going to admit her and before they could get her the steroids for his lungs, she had a placental abruption. David Joseph was 18 weeks early and weighed 1 pound, they brought him by helicopter to a level 4 NICU in Dallas. He had a 20% chance of survival the first week, he just passed one month, he’s on a ventilator and has had multiple surgeries, he has colostomy bags they’ll fix his intestines when he’s stronger. He also has a hole in his heart which they hope can be fixed with medication, and a slight brain bleed. The doctors are amazed at what a fighter he is, they have to wrap him up very tightly he enjoys pulling tubes/IV’s out. He also loves grabbing his mommy’s finger. His sister Ava can’t wait to see him, Kasia and Jake just moved to this part of Texas so they have no family or support system yet, both grandmothers have come out to help with Ava, but are home now. Three days after David Joseph was born Kasia went back to work, she wants to take her maternity leave when he comes home. Medical bills are piling up, child care, running back and forth. We’d like to take some of the stress off them any donation would help. Or just keep this little fighter in your prayers. He’s named after his grandfather’s which together means God’s Beloved He will add.
