Dear family, friends, and anyone who can help!! My brother David Johnson has been recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It is something called a neuroendocrine carcinoma, and is rare and fairly aggressive. Treatment needs to happen as soon as possible. As you all know, Davey is an amazing father, brother, son, friend and person. He has a huge heart, and is the hardest working person I know. He is in a huge bind right now, and could use all the help he can get. Currently, he is waiting on some testing so that treatment can commence. The CT, MRI and PET scans are being scheduled, as they have to be done before surgery. We are hoping to have a surgery date today or tomorrow. It is pancreatic cancer, but we won't know what stage until the scans are done. Surgery will be done at Presbyterian St. Luke's in Denver. He will have to stay for about 1 week after. His goal until then is to eat and rest, as he has lost weight. The estimated recovery time is looking to be 6 months to a year, so any and all donations are welcome, and would be an amazing help!
