Hi my name is Sophia and my older brother is David J Solis. He is a 911 dispatcher in the city and county of San Francisco. He is married to Yesmi and has two beautiful children, Grace and Issac. He is a great father, son and brother. He is also very giving, intelligent and funny.

In June 2021, David had an asthma attack and went to the emergency room. He complained of pain and pressure on his chest. A scan was done on his chest and revealed a mass was present. A biopsy was performed on the mass which revealed it was cancer.

Our family was devastated and sad to hear this news. As of now, he is on leave from his job and is undergoing chemotherapy. As some of you may know, this can cause stress and many financial burdens.

I have started this page to help alleviate his financial burdens. Our family’s goal is to have him defeat this cancer with less stress, and be cancer free.

He has a battle ahead, but he is strong and has his family, friends and co-workers to support him. Any donation, no matter how small, would greatly benefit him and his family during this stressful time. Any donation will be greatly appreciated! Thank you all so much in advance!
