This fundraiser is set up on behalf of David's immediate family. The words come from the heart of his mum and sisters.

As many are aware, we are all lost and shocked following the sudden and unexpected loss of our Dave. The world will never be the same without his chuckle and quick wit. He was the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need and there wasn't a person who he couldn't build a rapport with. He's touched so many lives and we are all devastated by his loss.

We want to have a day to celebrate his life and to honour him for the man he was.

We've had so many people reach out to ask how they could help and we thank every single one of you for your kindness and consideration.

Should you wish to donate to Dave's funeral please do but there is no pressure. It will allow us to make sure we send him off in the most fitting way. Any funds left over will go to caring for his boys. They were the centre of his world and they remain the centre of ours. We miss you Davy, more than you will ever know.
