David Heron's World Cup race in Sardinia, Italy

Hi, David Heron is an 11 year Team USA veteran swimmer who grew up on the pool decks of the Marguerite Aquatics Complex learning how to swim and compete at an elite level as a Mission Viejo Nadador. David has been such a great mentor to Master's and younger age group athletes who strive to pursue their athletic dream in the pool and open water. He continues to shatter world records in the pool as a master’s athlete and has also given back to the Nadadore program through coaching various age group, senior groups, and master's athletes.

David recently just narrowly missed getting funding from team USA for travel to FINA World Cup Championships in Sardinia, Italy. David is our most experienced men’s team USA open water competitor, having won many titles in national and international open water competitions throughout his athletic career.
