David Harold Dotson Memorial Fund

To our Dearest Friends and Family, it is with a profound sense of sorrow that we must share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our cherished David Dotson (56). On January 11, 2024 our beloved David passed away due to complications from a recent stroke he suffered on January 6, 2024.

David was the pillar of his family, a kind, creative, charming and funny soul who was made a friend with anyone he encountered. He played a vital role in holding his family together with love, spirituality and compassion. A beloved husband, father, son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend, David truly guided his family and friends with his unwavering dedication to us all.

David was a longtime dialysis patient and has always expressed a strong interest in being an organ donor in order to help those in need. To honor his legacy and wishes, David's viable organs will be donated to help save others who are on the organ transplant recipient list. Though we are sad to lose David, we are comforted with the thought of him living on by helping to save the lives of others.

Our family is truly shattered with the loss of David and as we pray for the peaceful rest of David's soul, due to his sudden passing our family is in need of financial support as we were not prepared for the high costs of a cremation and memorial service to properly lay David to rest. Your generosity, whether big or small, will directly impact our family during this difficult time especially his longtime wife and partner Carla Dotson.
