Hi.im not used to doing stuff like this so bear with me.my names Louise and I'm trying to raise funds to help towards my dad's funeral.ok here goes.

My dad had been going to our GP because he was suffering with his chest and arm.hes 83.was told many times he had a chest infection and just given antibiotics.told him he had a frozen shoulder aswell.on the 1st Feb my dad was taken to hospital by ambulance because he was losing his balance and was spaced out.

We got told he had a chest infection and while in hospital he had a fall so they did a full body scan.turned out had two swellings on his brain and then later we were told he might have cancer.got the news on 10th feb that he definitely had it.cancer had started in his lungs and spread to his spine,liver and brain.later on they said that it had spread to a bit of his kidney.my dad didnt smoke drink.ate healthy. drs told us he hadnt got long left. he just deteriorated from then on.still managed to make us smile though because that was dad.never let anything get him down.got told on the 18th that he could go on that day or the day after.but he proved them wrong.he sadly passed away on the 22 Feb at 4.15 am with me and my brother by his side.he passed away from pneumonia with metastatic lung cancer. from knowing he definitely had cancer to the day he passed was just 12 days.just 12 days for my dad to try to come to terms that he was dying . we're not asking for a lot.we just wasn't expecting anything like that.we wanna give dad a good send off but without funds it's impossible.
