Dear community of supporters,
A loss of a child is unbearable by itself, let alone a younger and hopeful one, there’s no amount of words that can make it less painful.
My nephew David Gregory Mpoupe-Singui, a born athlete, an active basketball player at Santa Monica College, who graduated from Hamilton High School at 17 and a member of its varsity basketball team with distinctions such as " Most Improved basketball player and Honor Roll Student." An all-around good nephew, son, brother and great friend. David Gregory passed away here in Los Angeles at the age of 20, on September 17, 2020 after losing his battle with cancer (Lymphoma).
A routine medical check-up revealed a tumor in his chest. He was then rushed to the Cedars Sinai Medical Center where he a was treated and then transferred to City of Hope Medical Center.
Five weeks ago, the tumor revealed to be growing aggressively impacting his breathing. He then passed away on Sept 17, which took us by surprise.
Dear Supporters, the passing of David Gregory is very, very, painful and detrimental to his family that is currently suffering from other aggravated living circumstances. Your support is crucial, your needed help and assistance is more than essential.
David Gregory is survived by his father, mother, 2 sisters and 2 younger brothers.
