David Gordon McMahon Funeral Expenses

Hello Everyone,

As you may or may not already know, my father-in-law, David G. McMahon, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 2, 2021. It has been a devastating loss for his family and friends alike. He was an upstanding family man and member of the community, leaving behind his wife, Jeanette, daughter, Rebecca, son, John and grandson, Nate, his daughter-in-law, Sarah - as well as his sister, brother-in-law, their spouses and several nieces and nephews.

Along with being a family man, David was also an avid member of the Fairfield community - driving the pink ice cream truck for many years, and participating in the Fairfield Tree Committee. His presence was also felt in any number of town activities, including working the polls whenever there was a voting-related event.

We are all devastated by David’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. Although David passed in his sleep, the unexpected nature of this and the timeline which followed did not give us an opportunity to reach out prior to the services. We were able to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes with a beautiful service, it did come at quite an expense to his immediate family that we were not prepared for.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of David's funeral. We were able to front the cost of the funeral, but are asking for donations in any amount to help recover the cost, as well as to cover any upcoming costs that have already begun to incur due to our sudden loss.
