The Story of Mr. Glass

My name is MacKenzie Martz and this is the page for my upcoming documentary titled, David Glass: Faith, Family, and Fortitude. I am a senior at John Brown University finishing my bachelors in Digital Cinema. This money will allow me to travel and feed my crew as we interview many of the businessman that worked alongside David Glass. Anything helps in making this passion project a reality!
Some of my previous work is a short film that was a Thea Foundation Scholarship winner in 2016. A short commercial on Velveeta won Bentonville Film Festival Student Film in 2015. My previous short documentary, "Thirst," won at the Spring Creek Film Festival in 2014 and was shown at the Naturals Stadium during the BFF.
I think this is a story that needs to be shared to the world. Many people heard of David Glass working alongside Sam Walton or being the owner of the Kansas City Royals. He was a very private man that never shared much about his personal life outside the office. It is important to share the stories that both coworkers and family have to share about their personal experiences with him.
