David & Getruda Janzen

Hello everyone. I'm Helena Giesbrecht, I'm making this GoFundMe page for my brother and his family. My brother David & Getruda Janzen together with their two boys came to Manitoba Canada in June 2022, to see if they could make their papers and have in easier life. However, in December 2022, Getruda got sick so we took her to the emergency to see what was going on. In December 2022, when it all started until March 2023, she had quite a few tests done. They did in CTscan in Ultrasound and a lot of blood works to see if they could find something. So in March 2023, they found out that she had quite a few Gallstones and that one stone was trapped between the Gallbladder and the Liver. Before they could take the Gallbladder out they had to perform an Endoscope on March 8 2023, to get the stone out that was trapped, on March 9 2023, she had the surgery to take the Gallbladder out. Because they still don't have any papers from here they have to pay for all the medical expenses themselves. As we all know that if we don't have a health card here in Manitoba Canada the medical expenses are very high, so now there is an outstanding balance of 30,000 thousand dollars.
