David Galvan, the owner and operator of the Galvan's Catering trucks on Temescal Canyon Road, passed away on February 21st.
David and his trucks have been part of the Pacific Palisades community for over 20 years. In our family's time in the Palisades, we have enjoyed not only the tacos and other delicious food, but also David's kind words and welcoming smile. I know that many of his other customers feel the same way.
Often, David's young daughter Xolash was by his side helping him with the cashier duties. She was always eager to practice her math and help make change for customers. In the wake of this tragedy, we are starting thisGoFundMe to benefit her. I hope that our efforts here will help convey to her and the rest of the Galvan family how much David was appreciated as a member of our community.
