It comes with great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved friend “Irish” Dave. David had an unfortunate accident and suffered cardiac arrest.

The family would like to thank BPD officer Larry Fasano, whom was first on the scene, rendered CPR until BFD and EMT's arrived and valiantly took over. Dave fought hard, as we all know he would, but the challenges were insurmountable. The team at Johns Hopkins Hospital ER and SICU worked around the clock caring for Dave. His sister Kay O'Shea, niece Ciara O'Shea and close friend Nicole Riley stayed by his bedside.

Dave was loved by all that knew him, as well as by those that he served at Dudas, Todd Connors, The Pickled Pig, and Slàinte.

David had an amazing relationship with everyone he came in contact with. His kindness and compassion for others was what made him the special person that he was.

He will be remembered as the funny little irishman, Irish Dave, Duda Dave, Slàinte Dave and as a man who didn't have a mean bone or hair in or on his body. His love for Liverpool will live on at Slàinte forever.

He will be laid to rest on his native soil, in Limerick Ireland.

May the Lord hold David’s family in the palm of his hand.

Funds collected will be used to pay for Dave’s transportation back home to Limerick, medical expenses, and services. Thank you to everyone who is able to contribute.
