David Forney

I've known the Forney family since I was 10 years old.  I've been fortunate enough to watch their life unfold from a young age and stay in close contact with them through my entire baseball career.  

Rick Forney (David's father) was my first professional manager in 2007 and is now presently continuing to develop baseball players today in Frederick county, Maryland. It has been amazing to work alongside Rick at my baseball academy, and it has been inspiring to watch the impact he has on both families and baseball players. However, this is only a glimmer of the type of impact has has made on his family, especially David.  

My heart hurts so much for them right now, and I'm incredibly saddened by their loss. 

This GoFundMe is a tribute to David Forney, and all proceeds will go directly toward his legacy scholarship fund setup by the Forney family. Thank you in advance to my local baseball community, as well as all those who are sending many thoughts & prayers.
