David “Flat” MacLeod recovery from stroke
Donation protected
David “Flat” MacLeod is home from the hospital after suffering a major stroke in June following his retirement from Leon's in May.
Flat's stroke has left him wheelchair dependent with hopes to learn to walk again. Until that is possible, Flat and Audrey have implemented the necessary devices to keep him comfortable at home, where he belongs. His recovery will require additional home care items and ongoing physiotherapy and supports to meet his goal of walking again.
Flat has demonstrated in the past that he would be the first to support family and friends in need; his door has always been open for a visit, a shoulder to lean on, or his expert advice that he is always willing to share. Flat's very proud of his career in sales that spanned decades, and only grew his large amount of friends and contacts, with his personal and professional service. He is also a former volunteer fireman with the Charlottetown Fire Department along with many other community organizations.
Thank you for the support and encouragement, it will certainly help Flat on his road to recovery.
The best wishes and support are very much appreciated by David “Flat”, Audrey and the MacLeod family
