Help David Fill In The Gap

Hello, my name is David Bell and I recently graduated from Kingwood Park High School. I’m continuing my education in hopes of one-day performing research on the link between the environment and the human body. This is one of the reasons why I chose to attend Fordham University. Fordham’s well known for its amazing internships and alumni community. Both of which I will be utilizing. I’ll be studying environmental science on the Pre-Medical path. I’m also going to be starting school early so I can train as one of the school's taxi drivers through the work-study program. I worked very hard throughout my High School career to get a three-year scholarship from the US Army. It’s allowed me to be involved in Fordham’s ROTC throughout my undergraduate education. However, the scholarship doesn't activate until my sophomore year of university. I don't have the funding to fill the gap between my freshman year and sophomore year. No family can help me other than my close circle of friends, which have propelled me as far as possible. I’m dealing with this chapter of my life alone because of an abusive relationship with my mother and father, but I won’t let their judgment allow me to fail. Any contributions made will be funding the tuition fees and housing for my education. My faith has allowed me to leap over this hurdle in my life. It's evident in the love and acceptance I’ve found in and around my community.
