David Erbach’s Funeral Expenses

David "Dave" William Erbach was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 2, 1948 and passed away on February 15, 2021 inside his home in Henderson, Nevada of heart and renal failure. He was an educator for over 45 years split between parochial schools, namely Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, Nevada and the Clark County School District in Las Vegas as well. His early career was devoted to that of the Viatorian Order as a Brother in the Catholic Church. He married later in life when he was 45 to his beloved wife Carol and they raised three children - Jessica, Nathan and Matthew.
Despite Dave's long-term medical issues including: low vision, diabetes, atrial fibrillation, and in later years congestive heart failure and stage 4 renal disease, these conditions never kept him from dedicating himself to his church, to his work/school life, raising his family and giving generously to various organizations that were near and dear to his heart.
Dave valued education so much so that he was a lifelong learner and earned a bachelor's degree, two masters degrees and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and used those skills he honed to impact the lives of thousands of students, teachers and the community at large.
He lived a simple life. He wasn't an extravagant person. He loved spending time with his family. He loved his Chicago sports and Notre Dame. He was an avid reader. And most of all he loved continually improving his faith in the Lord.
The family is asking for assistance with funeral costs due in large part to extensive medical expenses, along with increased funeral pricing because of Covid-19. Anonymous or not, any donation is greatly appreciated and would be helpful in lessening the burden on his loved ones while they grieve and celebrate his life.
