Fundraising for Dave Edelsten

Hi, my name is Mitch Fletcher from Stabilised Pavements of Australia on the Central Coast.

Tragically this week, we lost one of our greatest colleagues and friends, Dave Edelsten.

David or Dave as everyone knew him, was a loving, kind, generous and extremely funny family man, who had the ability to make everyone feel loved and special. He brought joy to everyone's lives who had the pleasure of meeting him.

Loving partner of Karen, doting father of Charlotte, a treasured stepfather to Tailah, Jared, Damian, Tamikah, Tiarne and Matt. Special grandfather to Wynter, Harlow, Kora, Harley, Kyarna, Amarni-Rose and Jed. He came into all these kids' lives and brought happiness and love.

One of Dave's attributes was to be able to make friends with absolutely anyone and anywhere. Dave never judged anyone, and to Dave it didn't matter if you were a cleaner or the CEO, he would soon be making a friend out of you.

Dave loved his sports, all sports, it didn't matter if it was cricket, basketball, baseball, car racing or horse racing, he would always be happy to tell you who won, and what the score was. He loved AFL and was a loyal supporter for St Kilda, who he followed all his life and absolutely loved. In the NRL, Dave was a storm supporter and everyone knew it.

Dave was only 48 years old, his life on earth has ended far too soon.

This fundraiser is to help support his family, for the financial burden of Dave's funeral. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.

We are all thinking of his beautiful family and friends during this hard time, and Dave will be greatly missed.
