David Dewar "PayitFwd" Educator Scholarship

Dr. David Dewar passed from brain cancer August 20, 2019. Out of darkness, we hope to deliver some light and love. Over the past 3 year, the Dewar's volunteer-run scholarship has done JUST that! We have had the privilege of providing needed funds to educators in the upper peninsula, MI. 

Our scholarship have assisted in providing:

- water bottle holders

- paints/supplies for school hallway murals

- 22 Guitars

- Classroom set of books "Number the Stars" and "Because of Winn-Dixie"

- BrainPop Jr and Folcabulary

- ipads

- an apple TV

AND MORE! 

As a Neonatologist, it was David's job to make sure our littlest community members had everything they needed for a happy and healthy life. We are proud to continue in his footsteps!

We are so very thankful for our donors and are very hopeful to continue our work making the world a better place, one teacher at a time. When you donate with us, you can be assured 100% of your charitable donation goes towards a pre-K-12 teacher's project. Donations are verified by both the "Pay it Fwd" volunteers and Donors Choose, funding only requested items. Project materials are shipped directly to the educator via www.donorschoose.org.
