David & Debora Blessing account
Donation protected
I am setting up this account for my mother Debora Hilby. She was in a head on collision Saturday, October 8th, 2016 and was medflighted to UW Hospital in Madison, WI, 600 Highland Ave. When she arrived in the hospital they had to perform emergency surgery. Deb's c5 and c6 were crushing her spinal cord and the disc between her c5 and 6 was also crushed. They put her in a halo to realign her spine and also had to remove a bone from her hip to replace the disc in her neck.
Deb is currently on a breathing tube and a feeding tube. She can presently move her arms and is slowly regaining feeling. We are unsure of the outcome of this accident and we know my mother will need extensive therapy after we leave UW Madison. We will be sending her to the rehabilitation institute of Chicago, IL, where she will undergo therapy and continue the healing process.
Debora Hilby is a fighter, a grandmother, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a Christian woman. Your donations will help my parents through this horrific journey. My mother will not be working for a while and my father David Hilby will be missing work and spending a lot of time traveling to and from these facilities. There is also a deductible that we have to meet prior to entering the hospital in Chicago.
Your donation will aid in these expenses and rehabilitation costs. Thank you for your prayers and compassion. This verse mark 12:41-44 reminds me of my mother Debora Hilby. Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting there money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts but a poor widow came and put in 2 small copper coins worth only a few cents. Calling his deciples to him, Jesus said, truly I tell you this poor widow has put more in the treasury than the others. They all gave out to their wealth, but she, out of her poverty, put in everything she had to live on.
Debora is a woman of strong Christian faith and she understands this passage and that God her father calls us to help each other when in need. Debora is our sister in Christ and she is in need of support since she is unable to support herself. Any donation amount will be helpful and prayers are free and appreciated. The Hillby family thanks you in advance for your prayers and generosity. Thanks and God bless! Deb, Dave, DJ, Darick, and Dustin
