As many of you know, my lifelong friend, " Jammin” Dave Collaton, passed away after a long battle with cancer leaving his wife Rebecca, and daughters, Magnolia, Charlie and Ava far too soon.
Dave brought so many people joy throughout his life, with his music and positive attitude. Going to a Jammin’ Dave show was just great for the soul.
Whether you were an old friend stopping in, a fan of his shows, or stumbled upon him playing in a bar you couldn’t help but dance, sing and smile. A good time was always had by everyone wherever Dave performed from Philadelphia and the Jersey Shore, to Vail, Colorado and Fort Meyers Beach.
We cannot meet in his honor due to Corona and give him the send-off he deserves but I would ask that you consider donating to a fund for Rebecca to get her through this difficult time and back on her feet.
Rebecca has been taking care of Dave during his illness and Dave was unable to work much of that time. She, like Dave, worked in the restaurant industry where Covid-19 is making a difficult situation for Dave's family worse, so they could really use our help.
