David Cole was a newspaper industry pioneer and technology leader.  His sudden death has left his journalism and newspaper colleagues stunned and saddened.  We want to honor David and his contributions by giving a gift to his alma mater, San Francisco State University's journalism department.  Working with the journalism department we will find the most approriate way to make an impact upon a student and/or the department. 

Your contributions, no matter how small, will make this memorial to David more meaningful.  The more contributors the more we can show that David was an important leader within the industry he worked in and served.
