Hi my name is Natasha and I am close friends with David, Tanya, Juliette and Jacob.

Saturday August 30, David passed away surrounded by his family leaving behind his wife and two young kids. David fought hard against PTLD(post transplant lymphogenic disorder) the past couple years. He received the gift of life with a heart transplant in 2008. He did everything right to take advantage of his second chance of life. He was healthy, exercised, took his meds on time, had a successful career, met the love of his life and had two beautiful kids. However a couple years ago due to the anti rejection meds for his heart he was diagnosed with cancer(PTLD). He fought so hard the past 2yrs to beat the cancer, no matter what obstacle was thrown his way he was determined to try every option out there. Unfortunately, the transplant also made him ineligible for life insurance. The past couple years even while battling his illness he still worked through most of it as well as his wife Tanya who is a nurse to provide for their family.

He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to many. David had an incredible dry sense of humor and his sarcasm was unmatched and the best organizer for all. He took great pride in his family and making sure they were taken care of. So I know he’d appreciate if we all help take care of Tanya, Juliette and Jacob. Faced now with a one household income and two young children we’d like to ease the financial burden and give Tanya and the kids space to grieve and not worry about work, and day to day living costs. Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated and will all go directly to the family. Thank you for supporting this amazing family through an unimaginable time.
