On his birthday, July 11th, my younger brother, David Caprio found out he has terminal stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Dave hadn’t been feeling well lately and with the insistence of his wife, Cecile, went to the
hospital for testing. A golf ball-sized tumor was found attacking his pancreas along with two blockages in his liver. This leaves his only option as heavy and aggressive chemotherapy.

I would do anything in my power for my younger brother. David has a heart of gold and has always put everyone else first. For over 30 years Dave has been a self-employed electrician, helping the people of his hometown of Bethel and friends beyond.


The upcoming fight against cancer will be physically challenging for David and Cecile and they are facing monumental financial challenges. David is unable to work and, as David’s primary caregiver, Cecile
needs to concentrate on his health and not on how to pay bills, rent, insurance, medication, food and a host of other expenses. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it would hopefully lessen the burden Dave faces on his path through treatment and his fight for life.
