Hello, my name is Adriana and I am raising money for my cousin David Camacho to help him in his fight against cancer.

His fight against cancer began recently in October when David went to the doctor to get his leg checked out because it was very swollen. After multiple tests, they discovered that his kidneys were failing so they had to put nephrostomy bags on his kidneys because they were no longer working correctly. During his tests, doctors also unfortunately discovered a cancerous mass in his stomach. It has been months since his first treatment and he is in pain and yet to receive any treatment whatsoever as he awaits his next visit.

David has always been a very loving, giving and sincere man of faith. When I first came to this country, David was the first person to show me around and he always wanted to make me feel at home. He is the kind of person that would give you the shirt off of his back if you asked him. He is a family man that loves to spend time with his family, dance, sing and be active. It hurts to see him in this position because he does not deserve it but he is a strong fighter and we want to give him all the support that we can.

Due to his diagnosis, David has not been able to work since October. He filed for unemployment but the state has not gotten back to him yet nor provided any help with funds. As the main provider of his household, he has found it difficult to keep up with rent and other necessities. Our goal is to raise at least enough so he has for household necessities and his chemotherapy treatment.

Although David is going through a rough time in his life at the moment, he still manages to maintain a smile on his face and still likes to joke around a lot. He maintains a positive attitude and keeps his faith in God and our Lady of Guadalupe to make sure he has the strength to beat this disease.

We humbly ask those that can help to please support us in any way that you can.
