We're taking David Barrett Trio into Chalet Studio to record an adventurous live album with a real live studio audience comprised of our unique circle of friends, listeners, and patrons AKA The DBTribe! We'll play new and old favourites, improvise jams, and perform a brand new composition called "The Bread of the Dead".
The cast of characters: David Barrett, guitar; Paul DeLong, drums; Scott Matthews, bass; engineer, Kevin Comeau; producer, Terry Brown!
Paul Reid @HotHouse Creative Inc. will design the package that'll include a red and black splatter disc, and we'll have Stephen Parry shoot pictures to document the event!
This is super exciting to be able to capture DB3 live in the most ideal setting - thanks to all our supporters, everyone who donates will receive a copy of the vinyl, all contributors who contribute $200 or more will get a pass to the live recording at Chalet Studio in Claremont, Ontario, and those that contribute $300 or more will have an all access pass that includes the control room where Terry and Kevin will be at the helm!
