Hello, do those if you who do not know me, my name is Robert Leith-Wentges. I am a close family friend of the Baril/Calder family. I have set up this page in hopes that our community can assist in offering financial support to Rebecca and her children through this difficult time.
On Wednesday, December 19, 2018, a dearly loved husband to Rebecca and father to three wonderful children; Nigel, Corson, and Scout was tragically lost to this world. David Baril, a beautiful soul who will never be forgotten. David was a patient, kind and gentle man who deeply cared for each person he touched. He was always generous, thoughtful, loving, and kind placing the needs of everyone ahead of his own. He was inspired by others and with every relationship he built, embraced that inspiration into his soul. David loved boundlessly and shared a piece of himself with everyone he met. Rebecca and her children have been left with a significant financial burden and will need a great deal of support. Please donate to help support his wife and children as they navigate through this difficult time. My family and I have been close friends with this family and have had the privilege of knowing David, Rebecca and their children for many years. David, Rebecca and their children have always given so much to our community in Brooklin, Ontario and beyond and I hope that our community and those surrounding are able to give something back.
The funds raised here will be utilized to support the costs of the children’s schools, recreational activities, in addition to day to day costs and monthly bills now that the family is suddenly reduced to one income. I will be managing the funds received, documenting, tracking and dispersing to Rebecca upon her request or as she requests paid directly to the company involved (ie. School fees, utilities, household bills, etc.). All receipts and invoices with details about the dispersement with be filed with the accounting and tracking documentation.
