The thought of writing this request was unconceivable just a few days ago, but here we are. Anyone that has had the privilege to meet David C Lee has been fortunate. But, to have felt his love is the purest outpouring of Gods love. Unfortunately, David was involved in a severe scooter accident on Sunday May 7th, 2023 while attending the Key West Songwriter Festival in Key West, Florida. He was transported by air to Kendall Regional Medical Center in Miami on Monday the 8th where he currently remains. The injuries sustained consists of 6 completely broken ribs and one bruised lung. The physical pain this causes him is undescribable. The emotional pain is really just beginning for him and his family. This event is life altering for him and Stacie to be completely honest. They depend on his incredible ability to play and write music just to live their daily lives. The recovery for this type of injury could be months, even for this immensely strong cowboy. I am pleading with everyone that is reading this to just take one second to remember how this family has poured out their love to their families and communities. I know how supportive David has been to his ever growing musical family. I can attest to the endless support that I have personally recieved from him through the years. At this time, David is being prepared for surgery. They were told the surgery will hopefully correct at least some of the broken ribs. Some will not as they are in areas under the shoulder which are unattainable. He will also recieve nerve blocking injections today that God willing will offer some relief and I am asking you to offer some finacial relief to him and Stacie. Please continue to pray for David, Stacie and Jessee. I sincerly thank you in advance for any help you can provide. Please use one of the avenues listed below. Please reach out to me ( David's sister ) personally if you have any need. [email redacted]
