David and Skyy Hagen Medical Fund

Skyy was diagnosed with a cancerous gastrointestinal stromal tumor in her abdomen. This is a rare sarcoma and she will be having exploratory surgery and chemotherapy in the coming month. She is only 31 years old and a school teacher in Utah. Along with this devastating news, her husband David has encephalomalacia of his left frontal lobe -basically a “melting/liquefaction of his brain” due to a brain malformation and previous brain surgery to correct his uncontrolled seizure disorder. University of Utah has been assembling a team  to proceed with surgery to identify and remove the problem areas and help prevent further brain damage. That will take place on June 9th.

They are being hit hard all at once and they are the type of people to never ask for help, but I know they are going to need it during this time. Skyy and David are loving, patient, and dedicated parents to my 6-year-old niece. All I can do is pray and that’s what I am asking of you. This sweet hard working family is in deep need of prayer and any other help you see fit.
