Over the last two years, I’ve had HUGE support from friends, family, and friends of friends/family. I’ve even had support from people overseas and from people I’ve never met! I am so grateful.
After extensive radiotherapy and some chemo last year I chose to engage in many alternative therapies (not covered by the system) rather than go through more chemo. I wasn’t able mentally or physically. I know some people thought that I was crazy but that was my choice. Thankfully people are being exposed and hearing about the power and benefit of certain plant oils and alternative medicine.
I have had two stable scans over the last year but unfortunately, recent results show the tumour in my brain has shown signs of change while the tumours on my spine remain stable. The brain tumour is at the visual pathway and I’m afraid of loosing my sight as well as everything else. I’m going back to the drawing board. One size does not fit all in relation to therapy.
I am doing this ‘Gofundme’ to get further help with the costs; advice abroad, medical expenses and ongoing alternative treatment. I’m not sure yet what my costs will be but having a fund to help with these expenses would be a gift that I am very grateful for. Any money donated goes into my medical fund and is only used for these purposes.
I understand that people don’t know what to say.
