David and Carol Sharkey Lost Their Home

February 16, 2025 Update:

David and Carol, after searching and and securing an apartment, fought through the layers of Bureaucracy to rent it and move in. They have next to nothing in the apartment, so any amount will help them furnish where they intend to live for the next several years.

The Santa Ana winds tossed and blew embers of the Eaton fire, spreading devastation and ruin. David and Carol lost their family home in Pasadena. They were barely able to escape the house.

The Sharkey family created this page to ask for help from our family and friends for David and Carol. Any donation will make a difference. Please help them as they begin the long process of navigating agencies and businesses, insurance companies, as well as the day to day struggle of living with almost nothing.
