David and Babs Excellent Last Adventure !

Hello everyone, my name is David Fine, I'm 63 years-old from Plainville, Massachusetts and unfortunately, doctors say I'm dying. You may be on this page having seen my story that went around the world in regards to my dying wish to find a forever home for my best friends, Babs. Babs is a 12-year-old Sharpei Boxer Mix and before I pass from Stage 4 lung cancer I am trying to find her a home that will love her as much as I do.

After my story aired on WJAR tons of people found out that I fell ill while setting off to complete my bucket list by attempting to visit Yellowstone National Park.

Unfortunately, while out west about 100 miles before reaching it, I got too sick and never made it there.

After coming home to Massachusetts in 2020 I underwent treatment for Leukemia, then a few years later I had several issues with my arteries.

This past August I received the lung cancer diagnosis and I chose to forfeit treatment in place of a 'quality over quantity' for my remaining days.

Doctors gave me 6 months, it has been 5.

I had tons of generous, kind people reach out to me asking if there was a place to donate so that I could take my dream trip to Yellowstone with Babs before the cancer gets the best of me.

As you may have heard in the interview, I do not have the finances to do it on my own, and I am overwhelmed with the kindness people have shown me which is why I have created this GoFundMe.
