On Friday, February 8th, 53-year-old David Almaguer, suffered a severe stroke while on vacation. He remains in critical condition and on life support in intensive care.
David supports his wife of 20 years, has 4 children and 11 grandchildren. The family desperately needs our help.
While insurance will cover most of the medical expenses, deductibles and co-pays will still need to be paid. More importantly, life goes on in spite of tragedies and daily financial obligations must still be dealt with.
David joined our team at The Oasis on Lake Travis in May of 2004 and now serves as a Kitchen Manager. A little over a year after his arrival, the devastating fire of 2005 struck The Oasis and David, always a loyal and dedicated employee, was instrumental in helping us get back on our feet. He and his family now need your help getting back on their feet. David is more than an employee to us; he is a respected leader and friend.
