On September 8, 2025, our beloved family member and friend, David “2 Dawgs” Acosta, was involved in a tragic workplace accident. While working as an electrician, David was caught in an electrical explosion/fire. He suffered severe burns and had to be airlifted to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas, where he is now receiving intensive care.

David has a long road ahead of him. His recovery will require time, strength, and ongoing medical treatment. During this time, his wife will need to remain in Lubbock by his side, supporting him every step of the way.

As many of you know, David is a hardworking, loving, and selfless man who has always been there to help others. Now, he and his family need our help. With David unable to work for an extended period, the financial strain of medical bills, travel, housing, and daily expenses will be overwhelming.
