Davey and Bravey have had a very adventurous month and a half, and they've got one more big adventure ahead: they're on their way to their new home!
Davey and Bravey came to HC and Kevin for help on the 4th of July. Unfortunately, their owners never responded to the multiple attempts to find them. HC and Kevin worked for weeks to find a home or shelter for Davey and Bravey, and just in time the answer came! Davey and Bravey will be living with Geraldina and their furpal Cocopuff, that's where their next adventure sets in...
Geraldina and Cocopuff live in Long Island, New York. Davey and Bravey live in Los Lunas, New Mexico. That's 31 hours, 2,092 miles, and 10 states for these intrepid pups to travel! In order to get these good boys home safe and sound they need to be transported specially, and the cost for such a lengthy drive is $1,700. That's where your help comes in. Half of that $1,700 is due when the boys are picked up (August 12, 2021) and the other half is due when they're dropped off in a few days. The ride was just booked on August 11th, so that's a short time to find the money! The other $500 would go to Geraldina to help with medical expenses. Anything that might be raised over the goal would be donated to Pilots for Paws, a free non-profit transport program for rescues - Davey and Bravey didn't qualify for their services, but what a great ogranization to support!
Any help you can give would be so appreciated by Davey and Bravey and everybody involved. We are all so grateful that they have a safe, loving home to go to! One more adventure until forever home!
