My name is Carmelo, and I am organizing this fundraiser for my good friend, the always awesome David Black.

If you know David, you know he is the type of person who is one awesome man. He has always been the one supporting others, but right now, he is the one who needs us to lean in.

Recently, David received some life-changing news. He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 renal (kidney) cell cancer. While David is strong and ready to fight this with everything he has, the road ahead involves aggressive Instead of economy substitute immunotherapy surgery, radiation, which means significant time away from work and mounting medical expenses.

Why We Need Your Help

Beyond the medical bills, David’s number one priority is his daughter, Líset. Being a father is his most important job. The goal of this fund is two-fold:

1. Medical & Living Expenses: To cover insurance deductibles, treatments, and keeping the lights on while he is unable to work.

2. Stability for his Daughter: To ensure that Líset is taken care of and her life remains as normal as possible during this scary time.
