Dave’s Hospital Recovery Fund

Though many have asked, we’ve hesitated to start a fundraiser as we’re unable to be sure Dave would approve. However, if together we can help to reduce his burden as he heads into what we’ve been told will be a long recovery period, we’d like to pave the way for that to happen.

Out-of-pocket portions, medical deductibles and a period of inpatient rehabilitation are coming, and we are still developing an understanding of how large the gaps will be between insurance coverage, living expenses, and short term disability.

Please know this is just one way to offer your support and that we are putting this out there wholly without expectations. Your cards, prayers, and well-wishes mean so much, and in truth right now they are our top priority in supporting his emotional and physical recovery. Our goal in setting this up is simply to provide a means of collecting and directing, to Dave, funds from those that wish to contribute.
