Look at these lovebirds! Dave and his wife Donna - Together since 13 years old - Wow!

Dave with the best grandkids ever! Little one’s left to right are David W; Kyle W; Hunter B; Shannon B; Cameron B; Sarah W.
Today, I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for help for someone very dear to my wife and me—her dad, Dave.

Dave and daughter - Toddler size Valerie B.
Dave's journey over the past few years has been marked by resilience, strength, and unwavering determination. In 2020, like many others, Dave’s professional Licensed Orthotist position of over 20 years was displaced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the setbacks, Dave remained steadfast in his commitment to provide for his family, as he’s done his entire life.

Recently, Dave received devastating news—cancer (Renal Carcinoma) has returned, spreading. Even in the face of the prognosis, his resilience shines bright, inspiring us all. He faces this new battle with the same courage that inspired us during his previous fight five years ago.

As Dave's family, we are determined to support him in any way we can. That's why we've launched this fundraising campaign—to alleviate the financial burden and provide Dave with the peace of mind he deserves during this challenging time.

We want to assure you that we are committed to transparency in this fundraising effort. If you have any questions about how the donations will be used, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Please consider making a donation to support Dave in his fight against cancer. Every dollar brings us one step closer to providing Dave with the care and support he needs.
If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider offering a prayer for Dave and his family during this difficult time. Your kindness and compassion are deeply appreciated.
Together, we can make a difference and give Dave the strength and hope he needs to face the days ahead.
To all my Navy Shipmates, Dave bled blue and gold his whole life.

His Dad was stationed on the USS Scorpion (SSN-589). In May of 1968, it sunk. His Dad didn’t. His Dad was IC1 Joseph W. Underwood. Book titled: “Scorpion Down” by Ed Offley is a good book and references his father IC1 Underwood. I won’t ruin the plot of how he got off, that your gonna have to read :)
Two of his grandkids took on the call to serve in the U.S. Navy and are both currently serving in Japan (David W - Sasebo, JA; Cameron B - Yokosuka, JA)
Brothers and Sisters, believe me when I say; Dave would have made the mess proud but the Lord had/has a different path for him.
