As many of you know , Dave Avery has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer . Dave devoted most of his life serving the community as a Fire Fighter and now he needs the communities support . Dave will most likely be out of work a lot , and only has limited amount of short term disability. His family has started this fundraiser in the hopes it will help keep his medical and household bills paid as well as much needed funds to and from Boston when / if treatment begins .

The out pouring from friends , family , and the Pelham Community is overwhelming and we can’t thank you enough . Unfortunately Dave’s battle was short and he didn’t get a chance to thank you all himself , but just know he will be eternally thankful
